Today was the first meetup organised solely by me. It almost catastrophically failed though.
When we just arrived and started marking ground with chalk security guard come up to say that we can't do that. There was no point to argue, so fine, I had traffic cones to use.
But it was so windy that cones were flying with the wind the moment we put them on the ground. So you can't use chalk and cones don't work. What would you do next?
Luckily there was parking area with gravel pavement, so we used cones as cups to add some weight to them.
At the end seems like it went fine and people were fairly positive, especially for the first event.
