This is a good read. A very practical, down-to-earth and common sense book talking about how to make company operations a competitive advantage. In other words, how to make teams more effective by improving team synergy.
The book talks about a common mistake when companies' cultures fall into marketing fluff, and how to avoid it. The proposed solution feels almost common sense; however, considering how rare it is to have a productive team culture in an organisation, it's definitely necessary to spell it out.
Unfortunately, in my experience and the author's opinion, the potential to change an organisation's culture sits with founders and top management. If you are not them and don't have a big influence over them, then this book is of little use to you. However, it will help you realise the amount of dysfunction and wasted potential around you. You've been warned.
